Hello Lovely Family!! All is well in the Kelleher household. Tonight Brian and I are babysitting Gabrielle (Ella) which is Laurie and Travis' baby girl. They have season tickets to the theatre here in Reno and could not find a sitter for tonight so we will be there. I think that it will be the easiest sitting job ever since Ella should be in bed the entire time.

My parents just stopped by this morning on their way to Bodega Bay, my mom just had to stop and pee (all that coffee she says) but I think she really needed to see Sean one more time. Hopefully they will have a restful and peaceful trip so they can gear up for more summer projects at their house and unfortunately, probably ours too! We like to help each other though so Brian and I should be over their helping as well.

Sean is amazing!! We had our first gymboree class last Tuesday, which was a trial class to see if your child likes the stimulation, and Sean had a blast so I signed him up immediately. They do different things like singing songs, playing with the parachute (which was Sean's favorite), bubbles, feathers, they get to play on the equipment there and interact with other babies in their age group which is important to me. He would stare at the babies and other moms and just be facinated by them. He paid little to no attention to mom though, which is okay, he sees me all day long. That day he was so excited from the gymboree class he did not nap until it was offically bed time at 7:30pm, the gymboree class was at 12:30pm so that is a long time for such a little guy! I think that it will mellow down though.

For Brian's birthday in March he got a new printer, since ours broke, and it is able to scan so I will be figuring that out and putting up fresh pictures of Sean on a more regular basis. He is growing so fast!! I would say he is already 14 pounds and he is wearing 3-6 months comfortably even though he is only 10 weeks today. He is as big as some babies in the class that are several months older than him. My mom thinks that he will be like A.J. and Brian C. was when they were babies, little tubs!! I am pretty sure that Brian K. is proud that his has a big boy on his hands so far, I caught him calling Sean a little TANK the other day and also calling him his "BRICK H O U S E" like the song. I am curious to see what percentile he will be in at his next immunization at the ped's office. Last time he was exactly 50%, but the doctor was still amazed that he was at that considering he had somewhat bad jaundice and was sick for two weeks. That did'nt stop Sean though, the little eater was wanting food every 2 hours regaurdless!! The other night he slept from 7:30pm until 5:45am and I was so so so exicted and thought that now he will really sleep through the night but of course he has not done that since.

Well, now that the weather is starting to warm up we will have to plan another BBQ as a BIG family!! OH, one other thing, my mom has a picture of Hunter holding Sean and giving Sean a kiss on the cheek and it is the sweetest thing ever!! I will have to get several doubles and give one to myself and to Rachel. Cousins are just amazing things!! I love you all my cousins out there!!

Talk to you later!

Happy Easter Everybody!!

I know that it has taken me a long time to get back onto the Blog but I will try and do better now. I am slowly starting to get into the swing of things and get back onto some kind of routine. It was difficult for a little while though because Brian got sick and then brought it home to both Sean and I so we were all sick. Sean had to use a nebulizer (breathing treatment) for about a week or so becuase he was weezing and having a difficult time breathing and that meant both Brian and I were not sleeping because we were afraid that he would stop breathing so needless to say the past month was very tireing. My mother in law also came out from Chicago to see her grandson for the very first time, so that was nice as well. Thankfully my mom is the best grandma/mom ever and came up for a couple days in a row so that I could get some sleep and so Sean could get some extra extra love.
The other day John had his birthday party at Aunt Cece's and that was the first time Sean was around the entire family, which was a lot of fun. He has had a couple of new expericneces lately. He rolled over from his tummy to his back, he is starting to take a bottle about once or twice a week ( I want to make sure that he will be able to take it for when I go back to school this summer) and he has been somewhat effective at sucking his thumb. I usually catch him successfully sucking his thumb after several attempts at it in the middle of the night. It is really cute!! I need to get some new pictures of him ( I will at easter with my mom's digital ) and then I will post them. He is growing up so incredible fast. In May we will be starting a Little One Swim class, which I think he will love becuase he loves bathtime as it is and they have the water temp at 91 degrees! I am also going to start going to a Gymboree class, our first time will be this Tuesday so we will see how he does with other babies and some fun stimulation.
Now that spring is right around the corner, Brian and I are starting our list of projects that need to get done this year. We want to finish up our backyard, put in more plants, trees and our built in firepit, we also want to finish painting the house and put in some crown molding. We decided instead of a summer/fall vacation, we will put the money into these types of projects and he will take a week off a work so that we can do them. I am looking forward to beginning some of these. With the crazy rains this winter we discovered that we need to also put in some french drains in our patio, so that will be a big project as well.
This summer I will be taking 2-3 classes, depending on if I get in. I am attempting to take Microbiology, Sociology and Psycology. These are the last three classes I need before I can apply for the dental hygiene program, which is extremely difficult to get into. Applications are due this January 2007 for the following fall enrollment. We will see what happens and what God has planned for Brian, Sean and I. I am a bit nervous though about whether or not I ever get in and that all these Biology classes will go to waste!! Hopefully not though. If all else fails I will utilize the Bilolgy classes for some other form of the Medical field work, possibly nursing? Well, hope everybody is doing well and have a wonderful Easter!!

HE HAS RISEN!!
HE HAS RISEN INDEED!!

GOD BLESS OUR WONDERFUL FAMILY!!

Love,
Nikki
