Wow it has been some crazy hot weather lately! With temperatures in the high 90's I decided that we needed a family lake tahoe day. So Cece, Brandy, Taylor, Brandon, Rachel, Hunter, Meadow, Terrie, A.J. Nikki, Sean and Joe all spent this past Saturday at the lake and it was suppose to be cooler up their but it was just as hot!! The sand was scalding and thankfully we had enough shade to avoid the direct sun and any potential sunburns, but I heard that A.J. got burnt and I am postitive that Brandon did as well. All in all it was fun and we ate taco salad and fruit and sandwitched etc...I think that we enjoyed it eventhough it was a little bit of an ordeal getting everything together and organized. In my opinion it was worth it.
Well, Sean is officially a little swimmer. He started his summer long swim classes this month. It is every Wednesday from 10-10:30 am. His friend Ella is in the class (Laurie's daughter) and a little boy named Diego that he has gymboree with also. So a little baby click has already started for him. Its funny to me. I can tell though that he recognizes the babies because he gets all excited especially when he sees their familur faces. I downloaded a picture of him at the swim clinic, it was just a month long, for me to see if he actually liked the swimming classes before I paid any money for him to be in a program. And, of course, he loved swimming. He can now go under the water for a whole second (makes me nervous sometimes though) but he is getting better and better with everyclass. Before, he was get really upset if water got in his ears on was on his face but now he is splashing around and I can take water and pour it on his face without him crying.
I just finished up my 5 week intense summer psychology course, which will now be followed up with my 5 week intense sociology course. Pretty much my day goes something like this, Sean goes to bed between 7:30-8pm, I start my school work, I go to bed at 12:30-1:30am, Sean wake up because of hunger or teething around 3:00am, we all go back to bed around 3:45am and then rise and shine around 6am. Needless to say, Brian and I are pretty tired. Luckily, its only for one more month and I can go to bed at a decent hour. What will really be diappointing is if all this work is followed up by me not getting into this ridiculously difficult dental hygiene program. Oh well, I'll never know if I don't try.
Sorry it took me so long to update my blog. Hope people even check out my blog site anymore and that they have not given up on my site yet! Lots of Love Gang!!

Oh, no! We faithful check every day to see if you have any news! It was so great to spend the day with all of you guys at Tahoe. I (even though the beginning of the day was a bit trying) enjoyed the get together oh so much. I have been trying to get Taylor in a swin program and just haven't gotten it together. Will try harder now after reading your good experience.
Good to hear about your summer adventures, and learning experiences! It is wonderful to know that with as busy as everyone has been with the summer months, you had a chance to get together for a Tahoe day! (I've yet to swim there!).
